A mystical style of art, combined with the fantastical worlds of writing, is what I am made of.

From a young age, I've loved art. As a child, I would be endlessly drawing on every piece of paper my family possessed. Fantasy art appealed to me more than anything, so I'd often draw creatures from the fantasy world. I also had a liking for horses, and I would practice drawing all types of equine.
My art soon expanded into the digital world, where it has remained for years. I started off with a simple, free 3D application, DAZ|Studio. I soon acquired Poser 6, and later began painting onto my images in Photoshop 7.
I now use my Wacom Graphire 4 tablet for every picture, and often paint more than I use 3D. As my skills expand, I prefer to draw rather than use the 'easy' route with 3D. Painting with my Wacom has become an every day hobby, that I aspire to someday take to a professional level.
Music is a great inspiration for me, and I have a playlist of my favourite songs that continue to spark my imagination and bring fourth the best of ideas and concepts. As a growing artist, I have never even thought of changing hobbies.

Writing is also a favourite hobby of mine - though it isn't as prominent in my life as my art, I always try to fit in a peaceful time of writing in my day. Writing is also a great outlet for my imagination when I can't quite get it in a picture. My characters inspire images that would have otherwise never been thought of - many of my images depict scenes from my various stories. I started my first book around the year 2003. At the time I was inexperienced, and had only a faint idea of what I wanted for the story - faeries. I named it before I even began writing it; the title  "Do You Believe?" quite simply came to me, and at the time I didn't realise how 'typical' that name is. However, over the years I have grown quite attached to the story, and thus the name, and I have yet to change it. The story has grown and evolved as I and my writing style have. My writing has matured and I have a far broader knowledge of words. It has undergone multiple, heavy rewrites and edits, and currently I am changing it for what I hope to be the last time. I am now at a point where I am completely happy with the story and how it is flowing, and the characters are dear to me. In the future I hope to combine it and it's sequel, The Secrets of Azaylani, into a single book and have it published.

It was when I was writing ideas and characters up for this sequel, around three years ago, that I came up with the name 'Ilenora'. I have since grown to like it, and use it for a screen name on most sites.

I am drawn to the world of fantasy, more than any other thing. As a Virgo, I naturally dream a lot, and am often 'up in the clouds', imagining worlds and creatures of magic. Though I am quite content with my life in this world, I use my mind, my art, and my writing to free all the magic that cannot be done in this reality.
